Evolve Accounting Solutions was founded in March 1988. Our team of dedicated, professional and highly trained staff are focussed on helping you achieve your desired financial outcomes. Partners
Jamie is a Fellow of the National Taxation Association of Australia and has extensive experience with all areas of taxation advice such as income tax, company tax, capital gains tax and goods & services tax as well as providing clients with ongoing business services.
These services include valuations and acquisitions or sale of businesses, preparation of interim financial and cash flow statements, obtaining finance quotes and dealing directly on the clients behalf with financial institutions and the Australian Taxation Office.
Jamie is married with five children and is passionate about horse racing and breeding.
Shawn has been with Evolve Accounting Solutions since May 2007 after spending three years with an accounting firm in Shepparton.
Shawn has a key focus on overseeing the preparation of financial accounts, income tax returns and Business Activity Statements for our clients.
Shawn is also our tax planning expert with a strong passion and knowledge for the area. His belief that tax planning allows clients to be proactive and to make informed decisions that will directly impact their cashflow is the cornerstone to this.
Shawn is a member of CPA Australia and is a Fellow of the National Tax and Accountants Association.
Shawn is married with two young kids and is passionate about following all sorts of sports.
Team
Nathan joined Evolve in March 2018 and has worked in the accounting industry since 2010 after graduating from Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga.
Nathan has been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accounts Australia since 2016 and currently works within our business services division focusing on the preparation of Financial Accounts, Income Tax Returns and Business Activity Statements.
He also has experience with Xero and how cloud-accounting practices might work for a wide-range of businesses.
Now calling himself a Bendigo local after moving here in 2015, Nathan enjoys playing guitar, supporting the Cronulla Sharks & Geelong Cats, and spending time with his wife and three young kids.
Cansu joined Evolve's business services division, as an Accountant in August 2020 and has worked locally in the accounting industry since 2018.
She completed her Master of Accounting Degree at Kaplan Business School in Melbourne. Cansu is currently undertaking studies to become a Certified Practicing Accountant.
Cansu currently works on preparation of Financial Accounts, Income Tax Returns and Business Activity Statements.
As a Certified Xero Advisor, she conducts Training Sessions with our clients and provide assistance to get them familiarized with our preferred cloud-accounting software, Xero.
Cansu moved to Bendigo with her husband in August 2020 to broaden career opportunities. She enjoys watching tennis, taking a ride with her e-bike and supporting the St Kilda Saints.
Claudia joined Evolve in March 2022 after moving to Bendigo from the Wimmera region.
Claudia completed her university studies in Italy where she is originally from and started her accounting career in Australia after moving here 5 years ago.
Claudia is part of our business services division and she is passionate about helping small businesses with compliance as well as assisting with day-to-day issues.
Claudia enjoys exploring new places with her partner, discovering more about Australia and after finally understanding how AFL works she now call herself a Geelong supporter.
Georgia has been working at Evolve since 2018, coming onboard as our full time admin assistant/receptionist. She has a bachelor in Tourism and Hospitality Management from William Angliss Institute, but now applies the skills learnt in her degree to the accounting field.
Georgia has lived locally her whole life, and enjoys spending time with her young family and partner, and watching their renovation visions come to life.

I've been with Evolve for over 15 years. I actually took my accountant for granted for many of those years - until I had to get involved due to a change in family circumstances. All of a sudden I was running the shop, buying the stock, selling, organising staff and doing the pays. How wrong was I to take Shawn and Jamie for granted.
